On Tuesday, December 8th, The Panther experienced a devastating fire. Thankfully - and most importantly - our staff made it out of the building in time and no one was hurt. A special thank you to Mike Grennan of Lyndon Fire Department who stopped while off duty and assisted our staff during the situation and ensured the fire departments were on their way. We would also like to thank all of the fire departments that were present, including Prophetstown, Erie, Tampico, Lyndon, Morrison, Atkinson, Hoopole, Rock Falls, & Yorktown, for their quick response and for getting the fire under control so quickly. No first responders were hurt during this process, and we are beyond grateful for that. Thank you to the Prophetstown Police Department & Bruce Franks (Chief of Police), Gerald Armstrong (Chief of the Prophetstown Fire Department), and the EMTs on site who were also offering assistance. Lastly, we are thankful for each individual who reported the fire and offered their kind words of encouragement.

With that being said, we will be closed until further notice to begin the process of repairs. We will not give up and we will be back to continue serving our beloved community! We are hopeful that everything will resolve quickly and that we can re-open soon!
