Inspired by a dessert she has made for family holidays over the years, Kristen chose this course in honor of the traditions that first sparked her love for baking. Her grandparents' love of coconut made it a family favorite, making this torte a meaningful way to end the evening.

Course Three: Flat Iron Churrasco

The next chapter of our "Meet Team Mosaic" dinner features Flat Iron Churrasco, thoughtfully created by culinary artist Abel. Inspired by his Guatemalan heritage, Abel chose this beloved dish because of the memories it holds of family gatherings and celebrations. A traditional grilled steak enjoyed throughout Guatemala, churrasco is known for bringing people together around the table.

Beyond the kitchen, Abel enjoys singing, producing music, and playing soccer, passions that reflect the same creativity and sense of community he brings to every dish.
