It is with great sorrow that I post this.
During the process of getting the restaurant up and running, we found something’s out about my health that was scary. I was told I would have surgery and I would be fine. So I kept moving forward with opening the restaurant. Recently during service, things flared up. I couldn’t breathe, my chest was tight, and I was sweating.. all from pain. I have been so blessed to have the crew that I do. They took over and got us through service.
It turns out surgery isn’t the only answer. It’s part of it but it is not the sole solution. I have asked for help on what to do next. I thought bringing my brother here from Maryland was the answer but it was weighing on me very heavily. In my heart, shutting down the restaurant permanently gives me peace.
I will miss you guys but this is what’s best for me and my family.
Mahalo for the short amount of time we were there. We truly enjoyed it.

While we are deeply saddened, we understand that this was completely out of anyone’s control and are praying for a complete recovery for Brittany!!
