WE WANT YOUR VOTE: SHOULD THE LONE SPUR CHANGE ITS NAME?
If you haven't heard yet, The Lone Spur is OPEN — and it's under completely new ownership.
And when we say new, we mean NEW.
The restaurant is now owned by the family behind MartAnne's in Flagstaff, an Arizona favorite known for seriously good food and a whole lot of personality. And yes — they're serving the famous MartAnne's chilaquiles right here in Prescott!
They've brought a completely new menu, new food and new energy to the restaurant — and yes, The Lone Spur now has its liquor license.
But there's one thing they haven't decided:
THE NAME.
While The Lone Spur experienced a complicated chapter with the previous owner, the original Lone Spur story was treasured by locals and by many visitors from across Arizona and out of state.
For many, the Lone Spur letters on Gurley Street and the familiar decor inside feel like home.
The new owners would like to continue the Lone Spur legacy in a positive way — honoring the history that so many people love while creating a fresh chapter centered around good food, good people and the Prescott community.
Now they want to hear from YOU.
