Today we’re celebrating Lexi Calia and 9 years working at The Backburner,but as a Calia, she’s been part of the family since birth! ❤️
Lexi has always been a shining example of hard work and dedication. While still in high school, she earned her CNA certification, and she recently achieved another major milestone by completing nursing school and becoming a RN!
Balancing school, her responsibilities at the restaurant, and her work with Lifeline Ambulance is no small feat, but Lexi has handled it all with determination, grace, and a smile.

We love our sweet Lexi and couldn’t be prouder of everything she has accomplished. Congratulations on 9 years with and on all of your incredible achievements. Your Backburner family is cheering you on every step of the way! ❤️

⭐ Employee Spotlight: Meet Noah McGovern! Noah is one of our newest team members here at the Backburner, working as both a host and busser. At just 18 years old, he’s already making a name for himself in the pool world. 🎱
Noah started playing pool at 14 in a small town in East Texas and recently won the 2026 Arizona State 10-Ball Championship. In July, he’ll be heading to Dubuque, Iowa to compete in the 2026 Junior Nationals Championship!
He’s got an incredible amount of passion and dedication for the sport, with dreams of going pro one day. Noah is also selling raffle tickets to help with travel expenses for the tournament, so if you happen to see him around and want to support his journey, feel free to ask him about it. We’re proud to have him on our team 🎱
