☺️The friends you make at the market! ☺️

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again… some of the coolest people you’ll ever meet are fellow market vendors!

I’ve become friends with a wonderful couple who own Sweet Little - Unforgettable Treats. Her husband creates 3-D artwork and all kinds of fun novelty items, including squishies!

Now, as many of you know, I’m also a teacher. One of the things I love to do is let my students squish one of the squishies on my desk when they come up to talk to me. It’s such a simple little thing, but the kids love it!

Here’s something else you may or may not know about me. I am NOT a spicy food kind of girl! 😂 As far as I’m concerned, butter and salt are about all the seasoning I need!

And if you have kids or grandkids who love squishies, you probably know that butter squishies are all the rage right now.

So you can imagine my excitement when my sweet market friend surprised me with my very own BUTTER SQUISHY! 🧈😂

I cannot wait to take it to school and show my little people! I already know they’re going to love coming up to my desk and giving that stick of butter a good squish!

It’s the little things, folks. The friendships, the thoughtful gestures, and the people you meet along the way. Just another reason I love my market friends! 🌴🩵🌴

🎃🔬 A little peek into my teaching world!

If you know me, you know I’m all about hands-on learning! Today, to wrap up our unit on the life cycle of a pumpkin, my little scientists got to dissect pumpkins! And yes, they even had lab coats on! Just me being a little creative, plus it helps keep their clothes clean! 😂

The fun doesn’t stop there! We’ll be estimating and counting seeds, baking some, planting some, and maybe even dissecting some seeds! So much learning from some simple pumpkins!

These little humans bring so much joy to my days! I’m incredibly grateful to their parents for raising such amazing kids and trusting me to spend such a big part of my day with them.

A little mess, lots of curiosity, and some pretty amazing learning happening! 🩵☺️🩵

🩵BIG THINGS ARE HAPPENING AT JERSEY GIRL CHEESECAKES!🩵

Sometimes growing a business means making a few changes along the way, and that’s exactly where we are right now!

As Jersey Girl Cheesecakes continues to grow, we’re taking the next step in our journey by transitioning to a new licensing structure that will allow us to expand our business and create even more opportunities!

While we work through this process, our cheesecakes will temporarily be unavailable at our retail partners — Big Country Market, Purrrfect Sip Prescott and Wh***ey 'n' Wildflowers .

We are incredibly grateful to these wonderful businesses for believing in Jersey Girl and helping us grow! 🩵

But don’t worry, we’re not going anywhere! You’ll still be able to get your favorite Jersey Girl Cheesecakes at our farmers markets, community events, and through preorders, as permitted under our current licensing.

What started as a little cheesecake business has grown into something I never could have imagined, and every step forward brings new opportunities!
