Our next brewery partner is Working Draft Beer Company!

Working Draft Beer Company was founded in 2018 because they wanted to create a communal space where people could gather with friends in a welcoming, art-filled space over delicious, hand-crafted beer.

Clint Lohman, Head Brewer, co-founder, and co-owner, and Miranda Ladwig, brewer and facility manager, are dedicated to honoring the traditions of classic European breweries, while also putting their spin on fresh American styles and highlighting incredible ingredients. You will find a wide variety of styles, from clean and crisp lagers, to juicy and fresh IPAs, to malty English ales served through a traditional beer engine. Their flagship beers, To Those Who Wait Czech-style Pale Lager, and Pulp Culture Hazy IPA, highlight our diverse range.

They brew beer either seven barrels at a time with their main brewhouse, built by W.M. Sprinkman in Waukesha, WI, or one barrel at a time on their pilot system built by Spike Brewing in Milwaukee, striking a balance between a top-notch production craft brewery and their home-brewing roots.

We are excited to introduce our incredibly talented bands playing the fest with us! 🎙

Our headliner for the festival is the incredibly talented Gabe Stillman!

The Gabe Stillman Band hits the stage in high gear and only goes higher as they embrace all corners of American Roots Music.

Since landing in the final 8 of the 35th Annual International Blues Challenge in Memphis TN, and further honored as the recipient of the esteemed Gibson Guitar Award, Gabe and his band have been focused on expanding their footprint on a national and international level.
Industry professionals have taken notice as evident by Gabe’s invitation to support ZZ Top at the famed Key West Amphitheater and as a Blues Music Award nominee in the Best New Emerging Artist Album category.

“One of the most promising young blues talents on the scene today. He’s a fine songwriter, excellent guitarist and strong singer, plus he puts on an exciting, energized show. His talent has grown by leaps and bounds over the last couple years. Don’t miss him!” - Bruce Iglauer, Founder and President, Alligator Records.

We think it's about time we introduce our incredibly talented bands playing the fest with us! 🎙

First to take the stage will be Madtown Mannish Boys!

The Madtown Mannish Boys bring a fresh, authentic energy to Blues and Soul. The band delivers music that’s at once raw and infectious. Known for their electrifying live performances and gritty sound, the band combines Chicago Blues influences with a modern twist, creating music that’s simultaneously nostalgic and novel. Their exuberance and driving rhythms make you want to boogie!

One of Madison's top blues bands, and they are near and dear to our hearts here at Water Street, since it features our very own Jesse Steinberg on guitar!

Bourbon, Brews, & Blues is just under a week away and we want to introduce you to our amazing partners who will be participating in the event that day! 🍻

Our next introduction is the entire package, bringing both their beers and spirits to pour! Eagle Park Brewing Company & Distillery, with Milwaukee Brewing Company.

Eagle Park Brewing & Distilling Company in Muskego, Wisconsin is a spacious, modern production facility featuring a vibrant taproom, restaurant, and craft distillery. Known for its energetic atmosphere and connection to music-inspired brewing, it serves as a popular regional gathering spot for house-made spirits and innovative craft beers.

Founded by brothers Max and Jackson Borgardt alongside Jake Schinker, Eagle Park began as a small garage hobby before expanding to Milwaukee and establishing the large-scale Muskego production site. Eagle Park blends a passion for music storytelling with a state-of-the-art 20-barrel brewing system and hybrid distillation setup.

In 2022, the bright torch of Milwaukee Brewing Company was passed on to the founders of Eagle Park Brewing, who took the helm of the brewery that inspired them to start their own brewery just 5 years prior. They now carry on the rich tradition of Milwaukee Brewing Company ensuring it remains locally owned and operated by those who are dedicated to crafting the highest quality of beers fit for sharing their name with a city steeped in brewing tradition like no other.

Another busy busy week here at Water Street Social Club!

Make sure you follow our page to get our updates on our upcoming events, specials, and more that you don't want to miss!

Great Scott! Tuesday is our Back to the Future Trivia Night. 6:30pm in the dining room, as always. Come test your knowledge on the Back to the Future trilogy, enjoy some delicious food and drink, and you just might walk away with a winning gift card.

Wednesday night we've got our next Wines of the World Wine Tasting - California Central Coast. Spots are almost sold out - so make sure you grab your tickets if you want to join us! 6:00pm in the speakeasy, tickets can be purchased through the event page or our website for $25/person.

Thursday we've got the Little Bookstore Paint & Sip night partnering with J Vod Creative and Back to the Shelf Again pop-up bookstore. Featuring our some of our favorite local shops - ReTwist-T, Serenity Art Gallery, and A Botanical Dyery from 5:30pm-8:30pm. Tickets must be purchased ahead of time to participate in the paint night, but the shops will be open to the public. Please note that we will not have regular dinner service this night, but we hope you'll come join us for a fun night! Grab your tickets through the event link or on J Vod's website.

Saturday is our favorite event of the year - Bourbon, Brews, & Blues! Fabulous live blues music all afternoon from the Madtown Mannish Boys and Gabe Stillman. Bourbon and beer samplings from local midwest breweries and distilleries. $15 tickets for live music and soft drinks. $40 for live music and unlimited bourbon and beer sampling.
This event runs from 12:00pm-4:00pm, and then we will open to the public starting at 5:00pm for regular dinner service. Tickets can be purchased through the event link, on our website, or at the door the day of the event. More details on the event page!

Our next distillery introduction!
Our wonderful friends and across the river neighbors at Wollersheim Winery & Distillery!

Wollersheim has been a staple of the Prairie du Sac community for many years, opening the winery in 1972. State laws changed in 2009, allowed the winery to start distilling. The winery purchased a copper pot still and started making Coquard Brandy not long after, reawakening the tradition of distilling at the property. Brandy was a natural fit as Wollersheim’s first distilled product.

The distillery facility opened in 2015, which now houses all of Wollersheim’s distilling operations.

Distiller Tom Lenerz continues to make Coquard Brandy alongside a variety of other family-crafted spirits, including several other brandies, bourbon, whiskey, gin, and absinthe. The barrel room is engineered to use Wisconsin’s weather changes to create the fluctuating conditions that are ideal for the maturation of spirits. Wollersheim Distillery, like Wollersheim Winery, has a lifelong commitment to ferment all products on site. This requires patience, but when it comes to maturing spirits, there is no substitute for time.

Bourbon, Brews, & Blues is one week away and we want to introduce you to our amazing partners who will be participating in the event that day! 🥃

Next up, our friends at J. Henry & Sons Wisconsin Straight Bourbon!

It all began with growing superior corn, wheat & rye on Henry Farms. When they decided to produce bourbon, they specifically selected an heirloom red corn developed at the University of Wisconsin in 1939. They chose these grains because Joe’s dad Jerry grew them for 30 years (in the 1940’s - 1960’s). They had to repropagate these heirloom grains and are the only people in the world using them in their mashbill, making J. Henry & Sons Bourbon unique.

Their bourbon is a natural extension of what they already do, and it’s their privilege to offer bourbon whiskey made with their exacting production standards from these high-quality ingredients grown right on their farm in Dane Wisconsin.
