Life update🩷:
I know I've been away for about a year now. A lot has happened in my life making maintaining this account and the business quite a challenge. I had to take a real step back and try to organize and strategize. I started this company for my family but going through a personal upheaval meant participating in weddings sort of broke my heart for a bit. I LOVED doing weddings more than anything I'd ever done in my career. But it was just too hard. My inbox has been flooded with inquiries which made me so proud and yet so sad at the same time because I just couldn't take it on.

Cut to now, I've been working part time with a wonderful company who supported my small business through the pandemic when I started making pastries for their Craft Cafe location inside of the Mingei Museum at Balboa Park. They took me on at a time when I didn't have much and gave me a shot. It was a necessary transition for me to keep things more simple for my kids.

Now, here's the good news! Together, we are offering wedding cakes as part of our catering services so if you've wanted a cake from me for your special day, please reach out to me directly or [email protected] to inquire. I'm so excited to see where this new chapter takes us!

It's not dessert related but I want to share who I am with you all from time to time. Wife, mom of 2 under 5 and pastry chef. My babies are so patient with me and my wild schedule of weekly weddings for the last several months. I put off tons of work I had to do until they went to bed so we could spend a few hours as a family enjoying the sun, each other, lots of ridiculous food and games. I'm so grateful for all I have ❤️
