North Star Restaurant opened May 1st, 2005 with a mission to serve Westchester and Fairfield County with upscale American food in a relaxed, casual atmosphere. The vision was to create a space that had a timeless feel, utilizing rich colors, beautiful fabrics, hand-blown glass, antiqued wood beams, a hand built interior stone wall and antiqued paneling. ling to the hand stained pine floors, every detail of the decor was specifically treated to convey a feeling of warmth. The menu has been designed by our European trained Executive Chef Franz Fruhmann to accommodate a variety of palates, providing relaxed fine dining accompanied by a thoughtful wine list. But make no mistake, North Star is also a great place to meet friends for drinks at the bar or somewhere to bring the family during the week for a great burger. We have been give an Excellent rating by Zagat and have been told that we have the best Chilean Sea Bass in their experience as well as a chocolate chip cookie that defies all others. North Star also offers a wonderful children's menu and fabulous desserts, all served by a happy and attentive wait staff.
