The wait is finally over…

Tomorrow, July 3rd, we officially open the doors to Verse & Vine, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome you into the space we’ve poured our hearts into creating. From cozy reading nooks to carefully curated books, wine, tea, and delicious bites, we hope this becomes a place where you can slow down, connect, and make wonderful memories.

We’ll be open 12pm to 8pm, 7 days a week, including July 4th, so whether you’re stopping by for your next favorite read, a glass of wine, or a relaxing afternoon, we’d love to see you.

Parking Information:
We have a few parking spaces directly in front of the shop, along with additional street parking just a short walk away as you head toward downtown.

5 days until we open!

We missed getting a fun picture today, so here’s a picture of a mom and daughter who are opening a bookstore.

Just us and Mr. V&V, our builder, fixer, and all around miracle worker.

Over the past year we’ve poured everything we have into this little place. Every shelf, every light, every book, every glass of wine, every cozy corner has been chosen with care.

Will we get everything perfect? Probably not.

We’re learning as we go, making thousands of decisions, and building it with love.

Thank you to everyone who has encouraged us, shared our posts, told a friend, and believed in this dream before the doors have even opened.

When you walk through our doors, you’ll be greeted by our signature scent.

Creating a fragrance for Verse & Vine was intentional. We wanted our 1906 home to tell its stories through its history and charm not through the scent of a century old house.

Instead, you’ll catch the feeling that your favorite book boyfriend just slipped out the door after leaving you a bouquet of fresh flowers.

That feeling was captured perfectly by Pensacola Candle Company ®, and you can take it home with you!

It’s not always wine time, so we brought you in teas from The Spice & Tea Exchange in downtown Poulsbo. The aromas from our curated selection are heavenly!

You’ll also be able to purchase our collection of teas and mugs to take home with you to enjoy. 🫖 Speaking of our mugs! They’re handmade by in Waco. Each one its own unique beauty.

We wanted to give you a second sneak peek today, because we are so excited about it.

We begin construction next week on our event area on the back side of the store. Because we weren’t able to get through engineering in time with the store opening, Mr. V&V built us all this beautiful garden space!

Dave is the husband/dad/contractor responsible for everything underneath the pretty finishes. And installing all the pretty finishes! This project wasn’t possible without him. Thank you, Dave! We love you! (You’re almost done!)

The garden space has very plush cozy seating for 16-18 readers. Complete with two fireplace tables for the evenings!
