Corey is our Carriage House Manager as of early Fall. You may recognize him from Crush Bistro, which he owned prior to joining us at the Co-op. His professionalism and positivity is breathing new life into our bakery & deli. He is adding a modern touch to our packaging, trying to lean toward more environmentally responsible containers and increased visibility. We are excited about the new recipes & expanding choices for vegans & vegetarians. Featured in the picture is Corey, his wife, and 10-month old daughter, Saige.

Good morning, everyone. I have written and rewritten this post many times over the past few days, with my words never seeming to come out right. But, here goes…

Unfortunately, we have had to make a tough decision—one that we have gone back and forth on dozens of times—but one that is best for our family. Due to the current global situation, Crush Bistro will be closing permanently, joining the growing list of almost 16,000 restaurants that have closed their doors for good.

We want to thank each and every one of you that have supported us on this journey. Seeing familiar faces walk in the restaurant on a regular basis was a great feeling, and we did our best to make all of you feel like family.

We also want to thank our staff for the hard work they put in for us, we could not have done it without you. The restaurant business is a demanding one but being able to serve the North Country has been extremely rewarding and a great blessing.

It is with a heavy heart that we have made the decision to close Crush until further notice. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, to all of you who have reached out with words of support and offers of help. This is one of the hardest decisions we've ever had to make, but one I feel is best for our family given the current state of events now...

We will be updating our page as we work towards opening back up, so remember to check in now and then! Please stay safe, and remember that we're all in this together. We look forward to seeing you all again when things are back to "normal", whenever that may be!
