📣CLOSED SATURDAY📣

A little change of plans for us this weekend!

We’ll be closed Saturday so we can head out and cheer on Chase at his cross-country meet! 🏃‍♂️ Unfortunately we don’t have quite enough staff to keep the cafe up and running while we are away.

Thanks for understanding and for always supporting our family run cafe!

Stock up today! We’re open until 2pm, then back to regular hours on Sunday. See you soon!

🐶 Meet Our Foster at Foster! 🥕💚
We’ve got a new little foster in our lives… and he seems to think Foster the Plant Café is a pretty appropriate place for him. 😂🐾🌱
Meet our foster puppy! He’s settling in, getting lots of love, and has already discovered one of his favorite spots, napping in the carrots. 🥕😴
He won’t be at the café every day, but you may catch him visiting from time to time… most likely sleeping on the job.
And while he’s enjoying the good life, we could use a little Friday love too! ☀️ It’s a gorgeous day out, so come downtown, enjoy the weather and grab some lunch from Foster!

🌱 It’s salsa time at Foster the Plant! 🌶️
We’re starting with 50 POUNDS of fresh, organic tomatillos from Kent Family Growers and turning them into our house-made Tomatillo Salsa! 💚
There’s something pretty satisfying about starting with a mountain of locally grown produce, peeling and prepping every last tomatillo, and turning it into salsa for our breakfast burritos at the café.

At Foster the Plant, we try to use organic ingredients as much as we reasonably can, even when they cost us a little more.
We especially prioritize organic when it comes to produce commonly found on the “Dirty Dozen” list, like strawberries. 🍓 We go through a LOT of fresh fruit, and when it’s going straight into your smoothies, bowls, breakfasts, and meals, we think it’s worth being thoughtful about what we’re serving.
