Fall starts this week, which means the Chicken Pot Pie is back in its element.

It starts early: pastry rolled by hand, vegetables cut that morning, and a scratch-made chicken jus. The pie comes out of the oven with the crust set and golden, and the jus gets poured over the top right after it hits your table.

Butterscotch Bread Pudding takes a while, and that is sort of the point. Scratch-made bread cut and left to soak in butterscotch custard, baked until the edges crisp and the center stays soft, then finished with vanilla sauce made in our own kitchen. It has been on the dessert menu long enough that some regulars order it before they order dinner.

On the dessert menu every day at Founding Farmers.

This Thanksgiving starts with American family farmers.

That means turkey that actually tastes like turkey. Real gravy with black pepper and sage. Pie that disappears before the coffee is poured.

Reservations are now open. Join us around our tables on Thursday, November 26, 11am-8pm, for a full prix fixe menu, scratch-made like always.

Prefer to host? Thanksgiving at Home is open for ordering, with the same holiday classics ready to heat and serve, including our Spatchcock Half Turkey, Cornbread Stuffing, and Sweet Potatoes with Pecan Fig Butter.

What goes into an Apple Pie at Founding Farmers:

A crust we roll by hand
Apples we slice in-house
Crumb topping made from scratch, no shortcuts
Time in the oven until the edges go golden and the filling bubbles

That's it. That's the pie. On our dessert menu now, and available To Go.
