One farm. One lot. Four fermentations. ☕️ ✨

The Fermentation Project, a global cupping initiative led by James Hoffmann, Lucia Solis, and Caravela, takes coffee from Finca San Miguel Urías in Antigua Valley, Guatemala, and explores how four unique fermentation methods shape flavor in the cup.

We’ll admit it: sometimes we like our coffee dirty. A blended dirty monkey is a fun summer drink with banana, liqueur, ice cream and espresso. Whipped cream for extra points.

(Don’t actually go wild with six shots of espresso; find our official dirty monkey recipe on our website.)

Show your grinder some love! A crucial part of the brewing process is a fresh grind, and if you wait too long between cleanings, gummy oils can build up on your grinder’s burrs. Don’t worry, Ian’s here to show you the way on the Baratza Encore ESP.

Check this step-by-step tutorial and you’ll be well on your way to a deeper connection with your coffee, starting with aroma, body, acidity and more.

All of the craft, half the caffeine. We’re excited to share our first-ever half-caff DOMA coffee! It’s the perfect way to indulge in an afternoon brew up.

This half-caff is a 50/50 blend of a beautiful Guatemala coffee. Same coffee, same roast level, but half of it goes through Swiss Water Processing to become decaf before being blended back with a caffeinated batch. Fully organic. Fully awesome. Notes of red apple, brown butter and cinnamon seal the deal.

In this episode of Coffee Talk, Ian is tasting our Limited Edition Papua New Guinea from Mong Coffee Farm in the western highlands. He breaks down what slow-dried washed process actually means and why it matters in the cup, then dives into what he finds on the V60.

We’re loving this coffee with notes of caramel, apple cider and dried fig, perfect for late summer. A creamy body and lingering sweetness with a crisp, malic acidity keeps it lively.

We will have just 50 bags of this limited edition available. Pre-sale goes live today! We’ll be roasting and shipping August 17th, so reserve your bag now. ✌️ We’ll share our recommend brew with Ian’s V60 recipe on our coffee page.
