I could cry at any moment. Sawyer graduates on Friday and I’ve never felt so emotional. It’s weird because I’m not sad. At all. It’s just a sweet and tender time. Everything feels so profound. The “last” track meet, exam, drive to school… but I’m so so happy. Happy he turned out so far beyond my expectations for his 17 years. He was such a challenging young boy and now just so …easy. He’s the kind of person that puts his head on your shoulder when he hugs you. The kid who has never felt the need to be doing what everyone else is doing. He’s quirky, he’s brilliant, he’s just so.. Sawyer.

These are not black and white photos 😳 I swear.
This noir bathroom is quite a departure from its previous iteration. Scroll for before. It’s somethin to see. We got rid of the party whirlpool bath, tried our best to make all the angles and bump outs make sense, got rid of the tub spout/showerhead, but kept the wild stained glass because…we couldn’t possibly take it from the people to enjoy. It’s a marvel.

We cannot normalize these beliefs. People who support fascism, white supremacy, white nationalism, Christian nationalism, a felon-rapist for a president, stealing food from children and elderly to give money to billionaires, stealing people off the street and imprisoning them for committing no crime need to be called out and shunned until MAGA dies. I’m sure if you know me well, this post is no surprise, and even though you may follow me for my designs, I am a person. With standards. Thank you for reading!

I’ve been having fun working lately. I mean, it’s USUALLY fun but sometimes it’s tedious. But this was really invigorating. I was excited to get in front of my computer every day that I worked on this. It’s not often that someone asks for a black kitchen in a bistro style and I’m very much here for it. I feel like I have a lot of clients lately that are pushing boundaries and really going with their gut! I’m honored to be able to bring their visions to life for them 😍
