Vacation is over and we’re back! ❤️

The Valley Inn is officially open today, and we’re ready to welcome everyone back!

We enjoyed our time away, but we definitely missed the busy dining room, the laughs at the bar, and all the familiar faces that make this place what it is.

Come spend your evening with us, enjoy a good meal and a drink, and help us kick off our first night back the right way!

Valley Inn Restaurant in Portsmouth, Rhode Island, operates inside a historic 1892 farmhouse built on the site of a 17th-century homestead famous for a dark colonial murder mystery and subsequent ghost story.

Whenever I drove by The Valley Inn Restaurant in my 20s and even now, it always looked haunted to me and I was not even aware of the "Amityville House" windows (not pictured) on the sides of it until very recently. Turns out, it is reported to be haunted. Check out the Rebecca Cornell story for more info.

We’re really excited to be hosting something a little different at The Valley Inn this Monday, August 24th! 👻📚

We’ll be welcoming Amy Bruni, paranormal investigator, author, and co-host of Kindred Spirits, for a special luncheon celebrating her new book, Cuisine to Kill For.

What makes this event even more special is that The Valley Inn is featured in the book, along with one of our recipes! With all of the history behind the Valley Inn, it’s pretty cool to be included in a book that brings together food, history, and the paranormal.

🎟️ Your ticket includes admission to the event, a buffet luncheon here at The Valley Inn, and a signed copy of Cuisine to Kill For.
