After School Appreciation is now in full swing. These specials cover all age groups, but the primary goal is to focus on mid-afternoon reading/studying in our dining area by offering up a complimentary cup of fruit or a cookie to anyone that brings a book with them. Grab a study buddy or a book club friend, and take the mid-afternoon to relax a bit.
Soups also take a price drop after 2:30 (until they are sold out), so be sure to grab those on your way home as a great side to any dinner (even those of you who like to cook your own meals).
Our Sweets Case has been well-stocked, so "buy-one-get-one" afternoons make these treats make a great compliment to any party, as well as a "Light-dessert."
2 smoothies of the same flavor will help you cool off from this heat wave, and maybe force you to try one that you can find a friend to agree with... "What's your favorite Market Street Smoothie?" If two people can't decide, we will flip the coin for you.
Last but certainly not least, it's hard to find any restaurant that offers $2 beverages, and can serve them in a true glass the way that we now do. This switch to glassware has drawn many compliments, and it just looks a lot more professional that most restaurants are able to present alcohol-free drinks. We also changed our sandwich/wrap presentation by moving those onto solid white plates (from Harold's) instead using trays with wax paper. This combination of glassware and solid (historical) plates might sound small, but the presentation is much bolder than we expected. Our customers genuinely appreciate these upgrades.
