We packed a lot into this one! We talked about our upcoming Santa Stop cookie decorating class, Oktoberfest this weekend, and I got to make a pretty special announcement on air…

🍪 Meet our newest Mini Manager — Ramsey Irwin! 🍪

Ramsey attends Portsmouth Junior High School, and he’ll be taking over the bakery on Saturday, October 24th from 8 AM–12 PM! I’m SO excited to have him spend the morning with us, learn the ropes, and most importantly… see what HE has planned for his Mini Manager day! I have a feeling it’s going to be a good one. ❤️

And to all of our kiddos who applied — don’t give up! We are continuing the Mini Manager program and your applications are still good! There are more Mini Managers to come!

I’m so thankful anytime I get the opportunity to talk about The Taylored Cookie & Bakery, what we have going on, and all the fun things happening right here in our community. I could probably sit there and talk about cookies and Portsmouth all day if they’d let me. 😂

A huge thank you to WSAZ and Studio 3 for having me back and always making me feel so welcome!

FARMERS MARKET TUESDAY! 🍎🌻

Market Street is looking GOOD this morning, y’all! Our usual Farmers Market crew is here and they brought a TON of stuff with them!

Beautiful flowers, MUMS, fresh produce, apples and so much more. Seriously, if you’re ready for all the fall things, you need to come downtown and take a walk through the market today. 🍂

Stop by and support our local farmers and vendors, then come see us at the bakery and grab yourself a treat while you’re here! It’s basically a one-stop shop for fresh produce, fall flowers AND baked goods… what more could you need? 😂

FARMERS MARKET TUESDAY + A GIANT COOKIE DROP?! 👀🍪

Yeah… we have A LOT going on today, so come hungry.

First things first — it’s Farmers Market Tuesday! Come downtown, shop the market, support our local vendors, and obviously you might as well stop in and see us while you’re here. 😉

And today we have a whole lineup of GIANT GOURMET COOKIES:

🍁 Cranberry Walnut — Cranberries, white chocolate & walnuts throughout the dough, STUFFED with maple cream cheese filling and drizzled with maple icing. This one just screams fall.

🧂 Sea Salt Caramel — Chocolate chip cookie stuffed with a big sea salt caramel candy, topped with dulce de leche, chocolate and a little extra sea salt. Sweet + salty perfection.

🤎 Cookie Butter — Chocolate chip cookie dough loaded with Biscoff cookies, stuffed with Biscoff cookie butter, drizzled with MORE cookie butter and topped with another Biscoff cookie… because apparently we don’t know when to stop. 😂

🥜 Reese Explosion — Chocolate chip cookie stuffed with a FULL Reese’s Cup and rolled in Reese’s Pieces. Enough said.

✨ Lucky Charms — SHE’S BACK! White chocolate chip cookie dough loaded with Lucky Charms marshmallows, topped with more white chocolate, more marshmallows and edible glitter for a little extra magic.

BUT WAIT. Robert has been experimenting again. 👀

In preparation for PRETZEL DAY THIS SATURDAY, he made a chocolate chip cookie with peanut butter pretzel pieces throughout and pretzel salt on top. If you’re a sweet + salty person, GET THIS COOKIE. Seriously. So good.

And because apparently new cookies weren’t enough for one Tuesday…

Happy National Sons Day to one of the biggest supporters of The Taylored Cookie & Bakery. 💜

When I bought this bakery, it wasn’t just a huge change in my life—it was a huge change in Rowan’s life too.

There have been long nights, early mornings, events, crazy busy weeks, and plenty of times when I’ve had to say, “Hey… I need your help at the bakery.” And through all of it, this kid has never complained. He shows up, jumps in wherever I need him, works hard, and somehow still does it with a smile.

He’s had to share his mom with this bakery more than I probably like to admit, and yet he has been one of my biggest cheerleaders from day one. He celebrates the wins with me, understands the sacrifices, and is always willing to lend a hand when things get crazy.

Owning a small business really does become a family affair, and I couldn’t have asked for a better son to have beside me through this journey.

I hope you always know how much I appreciate you, Rowan—not just for everything you do around here, but for the incredible young man you are becoming.

I am so incredibly blessed to be your mom. 💜

Happy National Sons Day, Row. Thank you for always being in my corner. 🥹

🚨 BREAKING NEWS: Apparently WSAZ has decided it’s safe to let me back on live television. 😂

That’s right — I’m headed back to WSAZ Studio 3 this Wednesday, September 30 during the 11 AM segment!

And I actually have some BIG news to share this time…

I’ll be announcing our NEXT MINI MANAGER LIVE ON AIR! 💜💚

The Mini Manager program has been such a hit, and honestly, it has become one of my favorite things we do at the bakery. I love giving these kids the chance to come in, share their ideas, learn a little about what goes on behind the scenes and have a bakery day that’s completely their own. I cannot wait for you to meet our next one!

We’ll also be talking about Oktoberfest, what we have planned at the bakery that day, our next cookie class that is now open for registration, AND as always any other wonderful thing happening in Portsmouth that I can yap about. I am the town ambassador at this point.. and yes.. I just made that title up.

Basically, they’re giving me a microphone again, so we’ll see where the conversation goes. 😂
