We’re so happy to be featured in this month’s Portland Mercury Food Issue!

A small update from our family 🤍

We will be taking a little more time before returning to the cart. Thank you for giving us the space to be with our family and for continuing to send such kind messages.

We are planning to reopen on July 1 and look forward to cooking for you again soon.

Thank you, Portland, for your kindness and support during this difficult time.

Nice Time PDX will be closed from June 17 to 21 due to a family medical emergency.

Chris has already traveled to Korea to be with his family, and after talking with our family and the doctors, I have also decided to go to Korea for one week.

While we are both away, it will be difficult to prepare and open the cart with only one person, so we will be taking the week off.

Thank you so much to everyone who visited during our solo operation, sent warm messages, left kind comments, and supported us. We are deeply grateful.

We are planning to reopen on Wednesday, June 24 with Chris back at the cart and our regular menu.

Thank you for being here with us. We look forward to seeing you again soon. 💛

Limited menu this week at Nice Time PDX 💛

Our owner chef Chris is currently in Korea due to a family medical emergency, so our team member Chris is running the cart solo for now.

We’ll be serving a smaller menu this week, but every dish is still made with care.

Thank you for your patience, warm messages, and support. We’re preparing to bring back our full menu toward the end of the month.

Our owner, Chris, needs to fly back to Korea tomorrow morning due to a family emergency. His mom is currently in the ICU, and he needs to be with his family during this difficult time.

We’re planning to stay open during our regular hours, but we may be operating with a limited menu while he’s away. We’ll do our best to keep things running smoothly and will share any updates if anything changes.

We’re also grateful to introduce our new Nice Time member, Chris Kee, who’ll be helping us at the cart. We’re thankful to have him with us, and we’re excited for you to meet him.
