💛 Hendrix has been part of our league for 4 years and currently plays on the Fisher Meats team in the minor girls division. She was diagnosed with restrictive cardiomyopathy last year and received a heart transplant on May 30th!
❤️‍🩹 She’s now recovering at Riley Hospital, and we want to rally around her and her family.

Music brings people together. 🎶

Last night marked the first concert of the summer series brought to Jay County by our incredible Arts Place. The Dave Matthews Tribute Band took the stage and provided the perfect soundtrack to a beautiful evening enjoyed by a great crowd.

Between songs, you could hear the sounds that make our community special—the laughter of children playing at the park, the crack of a bat from the ball diamonds, and even the distant excitement from the water park. Some people strolled the trails while others enjoyed the dog park with their four-legged friends.

Sometimes we need to slow down and truly appreciate what we have right here in Jay County. It’s easy to focus on what’s wrong, but there is so much that’s right. We have beautiful parks, great community events, local organizations that invest in quality experiences, and neighbors who come together to enjoy them.

Take time to focus on the good. Get out, try something different, attend a concert, support a local event, and enjoy everything our community has to offer. We have a lot to be grateful for.
