Oregon City Brewing Company OC Light held onto an early lead to hold off a surging Douglas Lager . OC Lite FTW but both advance to the semis to represent American lagers. Next up is miscellaneous lagers all day Saturday.

PNW veteran Chuckanut Brewery Bohemian Pilsner just edged out newcomer Kings & Daughters Brewery for the Czech Lager group win, but both will be advancing to the semi-finals. 5 American lagers start pouring today at noon. $12 flights and $5 imperial pints. USA vs Paraguay @ 6.

More updates on the Lager World Cup!!!
We have a surprise last-minute contender! Did you really think we'd forget about our house pilsner? Pils will not only contend in the Czech category tomorrow night, but throughout the Lager World Cup, you can get your Underberg mliko'd for only $2. The pilsner foam on top of the bitters really opens its herbal notes. You've just got to try one! It's an experience you don't want to miss.

We wrapped up judging the qualifying round for the Lager World Cup with German-Style lagers. So many great beers, we couldn't choose only 4. So the 6 lagers moving on to the German-Style Lager Group Round match include:
Helles *AND* Pils de Pils
Pilsner (Hetty Alice is the reigning Master of Lager and current owner of the cup)
Pilsner
Touch Grass Helles
Party Time Pilsner

We also have an update...

Due to injury, Spectral Lab is unavailable for team in the Czech Group Round match. Replaced by longtime PNW veteran Pilsner. 🍻 🍺 🍻 ⚽
