We have come to the hard conclusion to let go of Wolf & Bear’s. At least for now.

W&B’s was started in 2009 by a Wolf & a Bear, their love for each other, & their love for cooking for others. It was the BEST gig at the time; cooked for Portland spring thru fall & go travel in the rainy months. We had found the dream job!

A lot has changed since those days… Wolf is now a practicing social worker; Bear is pursuing a PhD in molecular microbiology & is dad to a lil cub. Cooking is part of what makes us who we are but we might reserve it for our homes & friends for a while.

Over 12 years we have employed tens, if not hundreds of incredibly rad individuals, & have served hundreds of thousands of (mostly) happy customers. We enjoyed meeting & working with every single one of you.

We have always considered ourselves part of what makes Portland special. We hope you remember us as such.
We love you Portland. Thank you.

We are still not entirely sure what the future holds but we wanted to let you know that today & tomorrow at SE will probably be our last for a while at least. NOPO is CLOSED.

Wolf will be cooking both days & would love to see and celebrate with all who can come by to say goodbye!

So sad to announce the closure of our NOPO cart.
We tried very hard to reopen after initial COVID closures... but just couldn’t make it work and were consistently operating at a loss. Our crew was overworked and stressed; world events, as y’all are aware, have been somewhat relentless. These are very difficult times for small businesses.

That said, we are very lucky to be alive and breathing fresh air! Time to be grateful for the little things eh?!
