At Q***r Plants Café, we don’t open a carton when you order your oat or nut milk. We make it fresh, right here in the café with Numilk.

In fact, we’re currently the only café in Portland using the Numilk system.

Our Numilk lineup includes organic oat & cashew milks, plus pistachio and almond milks—made from simple plant-based ingredients and transformed into fresh, creamy milk right before it reaches your cup.

It’s one of those little things you might not notice when you order your latte.

But once you know how your milk is made?
A carton suddenly feels a little… last century.

Chocolate With a Mission

Before there was Missionary Chocolates, there was a Portland naturopathic medical student named Melissa Berry making dairy-free truffles for her vegan mom.

Then something unexpected happened.

Those homemade chocolates won first place at Portland’s Northwest Chocolate Festival — and a little kitchen experiment became Missionary Chocolates, founded right here in Portland in 2008.

The “Mission” in Missionary isn’t just a clever name, either. From the beginning, Melissa’s larger dream has been to use chocolate to help fund an integrative healing center in Portland.

And now we’re carrying one of their newest creations at Q***r Plants Cafe:

This Sunday, July 26, Q***r Plants Café will be taking a one-day pause so our amazing team can enjoy a well-earned day of rest.

Running a small independent café takes an incredible amount of heart, dedication, and teamwork. Every latte, every brunch, every beautifully pampered plant, and every warm conversation is made possible by people who genuinely care about creating a welcoming place for our community.

This Sunday, we're celebrating them.

We'll be closed on Sunday, July 26, and we'll reopen on Monday refreshed and ready to welcome you back with all your favorite brunches, handcrafted drinks, plants, and cozy vibes.
