Getting there…. Pre- orders available soon….😅 it’s been quite the project….working between two continents is no small feat. My cookbook memoir will be used in collaboration with Spice of Africa to fundraise $250K for our community project in Kenya, to dig a water borehole (water comes once a week, and once that is done, build a community center where the community can gather (none exist). The community center is called Gachie Development Center. We will teach life-saving skills such as swimming, water safety in addition to culinary, and baking skills. It’s been 17 years…. at Spice of Africa. I started with $23. It’s been a journey. It still is. I have enjoyed the journey. I have decided that the challenges are worth it. It’s a question of mindset. I am ready to tackle the next phase of letting go, and not being at the front lines. That said, new and exciting things coming soon! Stay tuned. Life is full of lessons! I lost my voting campaign this week, but yesterday I was learning how to butterfly swim, today I am jumping off cliffs at a waterfall challenge, rowing through rapids, and directly under the waterfall- talk about super charged adrenaline!! With Gratitude🙏🏽🙏🏽

It’s been a minute….. +30 years? a lot has happened since I moved from Kenya, to Oregon…. From Runway & TV modeling in Nairobi, switched to being a small business owner of Spice of Africa, in Portland. The journey has been blessed, challenging and fun…. Now I feel my old roots calling me back in more ways than one. On November 16, I get to be on the runway again, in support of a wonderful organization called The Firmina Foundation; that suppprts education in rural Africa. I am beyond excited!
