🍓 Ciao Friends! 🇮🇹

It’s been a lovely summer thanks to you!!! Labor Day marks my birthday and annual vacation! This year I’m getting to celebrate mine & my hubby’s big 4-0 in...ITALY! More on the magical strawberry village at the end…

So before I disappear for two weeks, we’re having a BIG sale to clear some space and get the shop ready for all the fun holiday stuff coming when I get back! We will be closed September 6–22 and officially back open Wednesday, September 23.

THIS SATURDAY ONLY:
🍓 40% OFF CLOTHING
🍓 30% OFF PRINTS + FRAMES
🍓 20% OFF JEWELRY + ACCESSORIES
🍓 10% OFF EVERYTHING ELSE (INCLUDING PENFELT!)
🍓 PLUS extra-discount clearance bins!

STRAWBERRY VILLAGE!?!?! It turns out that less than an hour from Rome is a magical little strawberry village called Nemi! Famous for its tiny wild strawberries that have been celebrated with an annual strawberry festival since 1922! According to local legend, the strawberries were born from Venus’s tears after the death of Adonis and turned into tiny red hearts. Wowowowow.

Hope to see ya before I leave! I’m also hosting a little postal party before officially re-opening Tuesday 9/22! I thought this was the perfect way to get back into the swing of things and celebrate the beginning of Autumn’s cozy craft season. More info & you can RSVP via link in bio!

🍓 OH, HI STRAWBERRY LUVERS! 🍓

This year we are celebrating 5 YEARS (!!) of the strawberry museum! 🍓✨ The application for submitting your strawberry art is LIVE and linked in our bio/website. The deadline to submit is Sunday, May 24th.

The strawberry museum celebration officially begins Friday, June 5th 🤠🍓 with events happening all month with friends & more!

Strawberries are already coming in from our friends at ! We got 30 flats this week to start prepping!!! If you’re interested in ordering pints or flats plz DM for now! 🍓

The most common question we get is…what the heck is zuckercreme & the strawberry museum?

Zuckercreme is our ice cream & strawberry shop in Portland — aka home of the strawberry museum!

We’re open year-round, and yes… we’re always strawberry-themed! Along with our themed gift shop, we have a year-round strawberry cafe & ice cream menu that’s always in season. We work with Pablo Muñoz Farms to prep and process as many berries during peak season as we can to feature in our menu all year long.

So what’s different about june?

Summer & Strawberries are here! To celebrate, we go all out and launch the official Strawberry Museum Celebration:

🍰 Fresh strawberry pints, flats, & special strawberry menus

🍓 Hundreds of new strawberry items are added (many limited edition!)

🎉 Lots of berry fun strawberry-themed events

Thank you for 5 years of believing in a year-round strawberry world 🍓 all my luv to u & strawberries forever !!!

xo,
Brittany

🥹 from me to you:

this little strawberry universe exists because of YOU!! your love for this annual celebration lets me be the ceo of strawberries year-round.

the shop has always been a weird, scrappy, diy dream. no roadmap, just a vision. i built it with what i had, in the neighborhood i live & love, layering it with meaning over the years.

because of you, it’s become a true neighborhood spot. a place your kiddos love. a space that connects us in the most special way. you turned it into a third space, a home away from home, & that is the highest honor i could ever receive.

thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving me encouragement that i could be a year-round magical strawberry themed shop. thank you for reminding me that what i do is meaningful. i feel it every single day i open the doors.

🍓 all my luv to u & strawberries forever !!!
