🍽️ MEET CHEF DENNIS FERAY

We’re getting to know the chefs behind this year’s 7th Annual Autism Speaks Houston Chef Gala, and today we’re introducing Dennis Feray of GastroCraft! 💙

Dennis’ love for cooking started at home, watching his mom in the kitchen. From his first job as a line cook to culinary school at Johnson & Wales University and working in California, he’s built a culinary style centered around fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients—while bringing in his Texas, Cajun, and Hungarian roots.

A few things you should know about Dennis:

🍖 Favorite thing to cook: Pork belly, with duck confit coming in a close second.
🔥 Favorite local eats: BBQ & BBQ fusion, including Tejas, Rosemeyer, Blood Bros., and Khoi BBQ.
🐾 Fun fact: Dennis and his wife have five dogs, including three rescues, and hope to one day host rescue events at their future brick-and-mortar in Tomball.

But what are Dennis and his wife most excited about? Seeing the joy and excitement of the Culinary Champions as they work side by side with the chefs to serve amazing food for an even better cause. 💙

We’re so excited to have Dennis and the GastroCraft team joining us on October 17 at Bayou Music Center!
