While they’re not as well known as The Italian beef and the chicago dog, they’re still an important part in chicago’s rich food history.

A TomTom Tamale on a poppy seed bun with our house made chili and diced white onions. Trust us, this sandwhich will give you a run for your money. Just like your actual mother in law….

THROUGH THE GARDEN- $5.99
We drag this TomTom the Garden. It’ll be topped with all the goodies that comes on your classic Chicago dog— Mustard, neon green sweet relish, diced white onion, tomato, dill pickle, sport peppers, and a dash of celery salt. All of course on a poppy seed bun.

Some of you may remember this from when we first opened but Michiganders Windycity Dawghouse has crab Rangoons again!

In the early 90s Joseph Lee, Chef and owner of the Wok n Bull, a Chinese American steakhouse in Chicagoland area, won a gold medal for his crab rangoons. Now who exactly is Joe Lee? Joe Lee is the deceased husband of our owner, Andra Lee.

For this week only while supplies last we will be bringing his crab rangoon recipe to Michiganders WindyCity Dawghouse for a limited time only. This special will consist of 4 crab Rangoons and home made sweet n sour sauce made with fresh oranges and garlic for $6.25.

We’d love for you to stop in and try our beloved Joe Lee’s crab Rangoons to continue keeping his memory and love for food alive.
