339 pairs of shoes this year. That's the biggest Back to School season The Coffee Oasis has ever had. 👟

Last year we gave away 240 pairs. This year, youth teams in Poulsbo, Port Orchard, and Bremerton showed up even bigger, hosting Back to School events at local parks and cafes for youth ages 13-25. Kids signed up ahead of time, then came through for games, food, prizes, and brand new shoes to start the year in.

One youth put it perfectly: "Showing off shoes to friends is like being able to share what we got for Christmas."

That's what this is really about. Not just shoes, but the dignity of walking into a new school year feeling like everyone else. 💛

339 kids got that feeling this year because of this community. That's the whole point of what we do, one cup of coffee (and one pair of shoes) at a time. ☕

You just joined The Night Shift.

$8.34 a month. $100 a year. One youth. One safe place to sleep, every single night this year.

That's the whole math. That's the whole impact.

Thank you for picking a night. Thank you for being part of the biggest difference our partners make at The Coffee Oasis.

One night can change a life. You're already part of that story.

To everyone who donated to The Coffee Oasis: thank you.

Your gift is creating lasting impact for youth experiencing homelessness right here in our community. Whether it funds a warm meal, a safe place to sleep, or a mentor who shows up night after night, it matters.

Want to go further? Join The Night Shift with a $8.34 sign up and become part of the crew that shows up for local youth every single night.

Thank you for caring. Thank you for making a difference.

Coffee stand owners, shop owners, churches: we made something for you.

We just put together a wholesale sample box. Inside you'll find a list of every coffee we offer, flavor notes for each one, sample sized bags to try them all, and direct contact info for our head roaster, Hailey. She'll take great care of you.

Great coffee at a great price, backed by a mission that matters. Every cup helps fund crisis intervention, shelter, and mentorship programs for youth experiencing homelessness right here in Washington.

Want a sample box for your stand, shop, or church? Comment "sample" below and we'll get you set up.

This is what greets our youth when they come stay with us.

A caddy stocked with the basics: toothpaste, deodorant, a hairbrush. A journal to write down the thoughts that don't have anywhere else to go. Something soft to hold onto.

Because when a kid walks through our doors, they've usually left everything behind. The least we can do is make sure they don't have to ask for the essentials.

This is what your support makes possible. Every donation, every cup of coffee, every dollar goes toward moments like this one.

The Coffee Oasis was voted Best Non-Profit Organization in South Kitsap, North Kitsap, AND Central Kitsap in this year's Best of Kitsap Awards.

This win belongs to YOU. Every vote came from neighbors, customers, and community members who believe in what we're building: a safe third space that funds real crisis intervention, shelter, and mentorship for youth experiencing homelessness in our community.

Thank you for showing up for these kids, one cup of coffee at a time. This is your win as much as it is ours. 💛

"I'm not sure what I expected when I volunteered for Coffee Oasis."

Diane thought she'd be giving advice to kids who wanted to talk. What she found instead: young people who were weary, suspicious of strangers, and carrying more than anyone should have to carry alone.

Some of the kids she meets are living in cars with one parent. Couch surfing. Raising younger siblings. Navigating parents in active addiction.

So she started small. Sorting clothing donations. Sorting toiletries. Just showing up.

In her words: "The moment that you connect with a youth and feel like God made it possible for you to be of help, be it little or huge, the joy and blessings are incredible."

A ride to a doctor's appointment. A job reference. Finally being seen as safe enough to confide in.

That's the work. That's the third space.

Diane has given rides, baked birthday cakes, taught cooking classes, and shown up for holiday gatherings and fundraisers, all for as little as 3 hours a week.

If you feel a tug to be a positive force in a young person's life, that's your sign.

29 years of restoring community, one cup at a time. ☕

This piece says it all. Since 1997, Coffee Oasis has been more than a coffee shop. We've been a place where people belong, where purchases turn into purpose, and where community shows up for one another.

Grateful for every person who has been part of this mission. You're the reason we're still here.
