In loving memory of Don Clemente
On Cinco de Mayo we remember not only the founder of Puerto Vallarta restaurants, but the heart behind them—Don Clemente, a man whose vision brought people together over food, laughter, and tradition. His legacy lives far beyond the tables he built; it lives in the family he nurtured and the unity he cherished.
Don Clemente had a quiet wisdom about him. Even in his final days, he guided us in the way only he could—without grand speeches, but through presence, timing, and love. We truly believe he called us together in those days before his passing, and especially on that day—Cinco de Mayo, 2023—not by coincidence, but with intention.
Cinco de Mayo is often a day of celebration, of noise and festivity. But for us, he transformed its meaning. He reminded us, in his own way, not to get lost in the rush or the expectations of the day. Instead, he showed us what mattered most: being together. Sitting side by side. Sharing stories. Holding each other close.
In that moment, he gave us one final gift—not just a goodbye, but a lesson. A reminder that life is not about the dates on a calendar, but about the people we gather with on those dates. About love, family, and presence.
Don Clemente built more than restaurants—he built a place where people felt at home. And in his passing, he brought us, his own family, home to each other.
We will carry that with us always.
Thank you to our loyal customers for their continued support. And to those who have visited us and chosen other favorites we are grateful you gave us a try.
