OMG I can't believe I almost forgot that today is Bonnie's Homecoming Day! Bonnie is the absolute light of our lives. This past year getting to know her has been such an exciting and adorable journey. I couldn't have asked for a smarter, sweeter, funnier puppy. Everyone Bonnie meets is Friends, people and furry friends alike, and Bonnie has been an excellent traveler. She is always ready for new adventures and experiences. We spend most of our days together, excluding pretty much only gigs and rehearsals.

Miss Bon Bon, I love you so much and it somehow grows every day. Bonnie's job was to help me heal my broken heart, and she has performed well beyond her initial desired qualifications. She is my little companion, and she has already taught me that love is infinitely abundant. I never thought I'd be able to love another dog this deeply, but I do. And I am grateful. Every single day with Bon is a day with joy. How did we get so lucky to find you?

We had another playdate with Bonnie's brother Tater! I didn't take many photos because I was too busy watching the puppies play and catching up with Tater's mom, but we all had a BLAST and Bonnie is completely tuckered out today. She seems to remember Tater and Hazel, who was the third dog that Bonnie and Tater were rescued with. Tater and Hazel were adopted together and they live less than 20 minutes from us. Bonnie and Tater are practically twins, they look so much alike, Bonnie is just the teeny twin. Tater and Hazel are as spoiled and loved as Bonnie too, plus they have a HUGE backyard that is just perfect for these meet ups. When we get together we talk about how cute our babies are and how much we love them. We're so lucky to have adopted them! Thanks again to Tater and Hazel's mom and dad for hosting 🩷🩷

Bon Bon Voyage! We took a quick little trip to LA and Bonnie got to come with us! It was her first flight and (probably?) her first time in a hotel, and she was AMAZING. LA is pretty dog friendly, so she went everywhere with us except for the concert we went down for, and the Rainbow (she's way too young for all the rock n roll debauchery). Most of the photos I took on the trip are of Bonnie, because she was SO GOOD and everything she does is SO CUTE. Bonnie was very "go with the flow" the whole time and honestly she handled flying better than I did. Bonnie was a natural and instantly popular in LA, but she didn't let the attention go to her head, and is happy to be home and away from the hustle and bustle. I feel like this trip was a new step for Bonnie and our relationship with her. We completed a journey together and all came home together, and she seems to be even more confident with her place in our home and in our family. I don't know how, but we keep falling more and more in love with our little Bon! She's absolutely amazing.

We think Bonnie's birthday is sometime in early July (since she is a rescue, we don't know the actual date). My family has experienced an odd phenomenon that all of our dogs with known birthdays have been born on the 7th of the month. 7 is also a lucky number to many, so we decided to give Bonnie a 7/7 birthday, which means TOMORROW is her first birthday! Happy birthday to the tiniest, sweetest baby! We love you more everyday and feel so very lucky that you chose us. You are Pure Joy, Bonnie McMurray Lee Patricia Made of Cotton Candy and Fairy Dust Timpe Farrar 🩷

Bonnie has been very busy taking care of her mom while mom heals from surgery. She has been an EXCELLENT nurse, at mom's side for resting and also getting mom slowly outside for walks. Most of the time mom just stares at Bonnie and says she is so cute 🩷
