Hi friends, Ash are regretfully too short on time to run the cafe at this time. We’ve transferred management back to the owner, who will decide if the cafe will reopen. Social media will likely be run under the cafe’s original name “ Honeyhouse Cafe”.

Thanks to everyone for stopping by the Port Costa Cafe 2 weeks ago! It was busier than we thought, so thanks for your patience. After being closed for 3 years, and with Ashleigh and I (Chris) never having worked the cafe, it got hectic! The cafe used to sell about 2 cornbreads, and we went though more than 5! We ran out or orange juice early on, and almost ran out of coffee too. We’ll be more prepared next time.

It was a lot of fun to do, and so nice to have this cozy hang out spot open again. We aim to do it again 2/26, but its not locked in yet so stay tuned.

And just to reiterate, this is a monthly-ish pop-up we’re doing for fun and because we’ve missed the cafe; the profits if any are secondary. Ash and I have full time jobs and 3 young kids, so this really is a labor of love. Cheers!
