Yesterday, Project 2101 served 130+ meals to our community through our Purpose Packs. 🤎

We started by getting meals & toiletries into the hands of our unhoused neighbors. After we finished, we still had bags left — so we kept going.

We headed to nearby apartment complexes and passed meals out to kids playing outside, families and residents who were still without power, and even some of the electrical workers out restoring power to our community.

The goal was simple: if we had a meal to give, we were going to find somebody who needed it.

130+ meals. One community. A whole lot of people looking out for each other.

Thank you to everyone who helped make today possible. This is what community looks like. 🤝🏾

Just a reminder: today’s Purpose Packs are reserved specifically for our unhoused neighbors. 🤎

If you know of a group or community of people experiencing homelessness who could use a little support, please let us know where they are. We’d love to bring the packs directly to them.

If you have a location or know someone we should connect with, send us a message.

Thank you for helping us get these into the hands of the people who need them most. 🙏🏾

🥪 100 PURPOSE PACKS. 100 SMILES. ONE COMMUNITY. ❤️

We’re preparing 100 free meal bags for our unhoused neighbors in the community.

Each bag includes:
🥪 Turkey or Ham sandwich
🍪 Cookie
🥔 Chips
💧 Bottled water

We’d also love your help reaching people who may benefit. If you know of local areas where unhoused neighbors gather or places where we can safely drop off meal bags, please send us a message with details.

📍Project 2101 | 2101 Bluebonnet Ave
📅 Saturday, Sept. 5, 2026
⏰ 11AM - 2PM

This giveaway is specifically intended for our unhoused neighbors. We kindly ask that meals be shared with those who are currently experiencing homelessness and may need them most.

If you’d like to support a future giveaway, we’re accepting donations of cases of water and other individually packaged items such as travel size toiletries, snacks etc. Every contribution helps us provide more meals to our community.

Thank you for helping us care for our neighbors. ❤️

A little late, but the memories still count. 🍿🎬

Throwing it back to Family Movie Night at Project 2101 a couple weeks ago. Popcorn, good people, and a whole lot of family fun. 🤎

And a special thank you to Jayven Jean-Louis, a Port Arthur native who worked on the film, for coming out and sharing the experience with our community. We appreciate you! 🙌🏾
