A special moment at the Tarpon Inn this week! Guest Andrew Ziegler Smith stopped by and discovered both of his maternal grandparents’ tarpon scales hanging on our wall — and Grandma had the bigger catch! 🎣

The Tarpon Inn is proud to house one of the largest collections of tarpon scales anywhere, each one carrying a story and a piece of history. Next time you visit, take a stroll through the collection… you just might spot the name of an ancestor, family friend, or familiar face from years past.

Come explore the history, stories, and legends hanging on our walls at the historic Tarpon Inn.
