I am currently looking for someone to rent The business at Green Oasis...excuse the wordiness, using medical ma*****na to reduce pain. 😄
Currently, I am in talks with someone who shares my vision. She likes to bake, has fast food managerial experience, she has 4 work age children and a desire to succeed.
If that doesn't happen and I don't have it rented by spring, I will reopen it myself somehow, someway unless circumstances change or I will create a food truck venue.
When I first bought the land and saw a vision of what it could be...I contacted 3 local landscapers for bids....received 0 bids only because they assumed rightly I was broke. So, if you are a landscaper and want to showcase your talents, text me at 573 776 5695. And if I use your company, You can place a big ass sign at entrance to garden! Build it and They Will Come!
So, what you see is through the efforts of myself, my husband, son and daughter. At 65 and 70 too old and too wore out to do what I once loved doing. But, not too old to see a dream come to fruition with help of family and friends, like minded souls and those who would like to be part of creating something that we all need. Myself included. A place to escape the walls of a building and not have to drive to St. Louis to the botanical gardens to be enchanted with their exhibits, art displays, walking paths, light shows, and seasonal dioramas. A place for those with limited mobility, like me and my husband, to take a stroll down a short garden path watching the pollinators, the birds and the bees...or at night for a date night through an artistic Avataris mood light setting of fiber optic and solar lights.
You can drive to the Gardens...buy what they have to eat or drink and for a moment in time, escape the world outside and be part of a secret garden in good ol Poplar Bluff, MO
If you think you want to rent my business, I encourage you to go to 3383 Kanell Blvd. And take a look see for yourself. We had to clean up the Garden after losing 2 trees and lost a few other things after the Tornadoes so it's a little sad right now. If you are a landscaper, contact me and I will meet up with you and tell you what I want. I promise, if I get the funds, this WILL Happen.
