Our class had another amazing outing at Lambert's Cafe. We were delighted to tour, learn about, and of course taste the amazing food that brings thousands to the restaurant.
It was a perfect day to catch a roll and learn about one of our most unique restaurants around.
Afterwards, we needed a little rest and relaxation, so we stopped at the park to walk it off.

What an honor to visit the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center and see what daily production looks like in the hospitality industry.

Thank you to Chef Alonzo and all the great staff who shared their passion and job opportunities with our class.

I am incredibly proud of three of our past students who graduated from our program and are currently on staff at the hospital. It was great seeing them being successful in their work environment.

It is great to know staff, visitors, and patients are getting some delicious, fresh, well balanced meals at our local hospital. We were even treated to lunch, and it was great.

We look forward to growing our relationship with the hospital to help place more students in the industry.

THANK YOU! Thank you to all of our supporters: customers, community members, parents/family.

Thank you to all who have supported our class this year and allowed our students to serve you, cook for you, and learn while on the job.

We were overwhelmed with how many people chose to dine with us on our last cafe of the school year. We served about 148 meals in 2 hours and the students did an amazing job at trying to keep it all together. I'm sorry to those who had to wait, missed an item, or were turned away due to running out of products. Please know we are sorry, and we do continue to strive to be better and improve.

What an absolutely fabulous year we have had in the culinary arts class. Here are some class photos of all the great fun we have shared while in class.

How are we almost in May? The school year has been great, our students have worked hard, trained well, and are ready to serve you one last time.
This Thursday will be our LAST cafe of the school year. Please make plans to stop by and enjoy one of our regular baskets, or something a little different.
Our specials this week include brisket, pulled pork and smoked chicken.
Because of a new menu, we are asking that all carryout orders be placed no later than 9:00 AM Thursday. We would love for you to call today or tomorrow, but we are limited in availability of students on Thursday.

This past Monday, we took an amazing field trip to Ozark Technical College in Springfield. The chef demonstrated how to make homemade pasta, alfredo sauce, and then gave a tour of the facilities. We of course ate well, and stopped for ice cream at Braum's. (part one of the field trip)
