Good afternoon, Pontotoc. I want to go ahead and address everyone’s question- it’s with a very heavy heart that we are officially shutting our doors and will not reopen. As much as we’d like to make it work, it’s just not feasible for us to build back at this time. With that being said, THANK YOU. Thank you for supporting me and my family for the last 14 years. There are no words to describe how thankful I am for the friendships and memories this restaurant holds. I have worked beside so many employees and served so many customers who I now consider friends. I have raised Sydnei in the restaurant world since she was only 6 months old. I have learned so much about life and through the restaurant, I’ve been able to give back to our awesome community. A lot of people have asked what I am doing next- I am happy to say you can still find me eating at our sister restaurant, Big Smooth Barbecue, and I am also now a licensed realtor in Mississippi. I look forward to continue to serve our community with helping you with your buying & selling needs. If you know me, you know it’s another BIG passion of mine. Thank you again to everyone who donated money for our employees and especially to Cody Riddle, Justin Kirk, and Chad Harlow. Because of you, we were able to give money to over 20 employees. Thank you to those who came to Ella’s lemonade stand- she was able to donate over $2,000 to the Pontotoc Fire Department. If you’re still here reading this, I just want you to know how much you mean to me and say thank you. A lot of people have called about buying our building/land- it is currently pending sale to an awesome new owner. We can’t wait to support the next business that will open here very soon!! This is hopefully not “goodbye” from Sydnei’s but rather, a “see you later”! -Ryan
