PONTIAC HIGH SCHOOL GRADS (18-24) — READY TO BUILD A REAL CAREER?
This week, a Perry Street Empowerment apprentice put on a hard hat and safety vest and walked onto the site of the $300 million development happening right here in downtown Pontiac.
They stood next to County officials, including Megan Sellers, and Pontiac Council President Adrian Austin — not as a visitor, but as someone being trained for a real career in construction.
This is what’s possible when a Pontiac grad gets the right door opened for them.
Perry Street Empowerment trains Pontiac high school graduates, ages 18-24, for real careers in construction — not just a job, but a path to a skilled trade, a real paycheck, and a future you build with your own hands, literally.
No experience needed. We teach everything from the ground up.

✅ Want to earn real money doing real work
✅ Could use mentorship and hands-on training
