💜 SWEET SEPTEMBER — Baking for a Cause 🍪

This month, I am joining other Tangi bakers in Sweet September.

My mom passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2023, and this September, I’m honoring her memory by giving back and helping support pancreatic cancer research. 💜 Not only did my mom pass from this, but my best friend lost her mom from it the next year..

Pancreatic cancer is one of the deadliest cancers and it accounts for about 3% of all cancers in the U.S., but about 8% of cancer deaths. The pancreas is deep inside the abdomen, and early pancreatic cancer often causes few or no symptoms, which makes this cancer extremely hard to detect.

🍪 Every one of my cookies sold at Pull Clip Cafe = $1 donated (Located at📍1109 CM Fagan Dr, Ste V, Hammond)

🍪 Every dozen cookies ordered directly from me = $2 donated

All donations will be made at the end of September and will go directly to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN) to support research and the search for better ways to detect pancreatic cancer earlier and save more lives.
