So I got to go to Southern boys store front. And I must say they have a lot of cool stuff in there. I really like it. They have anything you need to host and cater your very own parties. Or if you have a big family meal you want to cook, they got the stuff to do it. And they have some really good stuff. Remember, don't look at the price tags when you go into a place like that you're going in there for quality. And they have some quality stuff I must say. I bought a few of their food items. And I'm testing them out this week so if y'all bear with me I'll be having post coming at you for you to check out!

This will be my first review for my page I will call this the Icebreaker. Lol

This restaurant is on the outskirts Northeast of franklinton Louisiana. If you pull up you would think it would be the old White seafood but that place is in Husser. The name of the restaurant is Bourne seafood buffet. It's in Sheridan la.

The Bourne supremacy.....

Honestly I debated on what I wanted to say about this restaurant. I don't like to put out negative vibes or say anything negative about a small business restaurant. But a lot of people they were most good reviews on this page about this particular restaurant and the restaurants on post. So I wanted to say that the restaurant The Bourne seafood buffet in my opinion isn't worth a 30 minute to 45 minute drive from Ponchatoula and to pay $24.99 and $2:50 a drink and say it's worth the time to go try it out. I just want to warn people that are going to travel to this place and they could be disappointed. The restaurant in my opinion would get a five out of a tent so on Google you would get two and a half Stars instead of five stars from me. So let me explain.

And by the way I do have a cooking background I've cooked at a few restaurants in New Orleans and decided couldn't make enough money to live off of out there and when I was a crane mechanic I got to cook with some pretty awesome people offshore non-professional. I do have a very trustworthy Great taste and pallet.

Let me start off by saying the boiled shrimp tasted like they were two days old and they were definitely frozen iqf shrimp. The boiled shrimp at China Palace in Hammond is 100 times better. The gumbo was slightly bland. The crawfish etouffee was the consistency of the gumbo very soupy. It's not made with a buttery creamy sauce. Lobster bisque didn't try it didn't care the chicken and sausage gumbo didn't want to risk it. Then we move on to the fried foods the fried catfish fried shrimp we're okay. Shrimp still had the same aftertaste as it was frozen shrimp but a little more edible. The stuff fried crab shell was on point. Black eyed peas were decent and green beans. The macaroni was lacking cheese. Shrimp and grits y'all need a new recipe. The stuffed grill fish whatever that was that was in between the two grilled or baked pieces of fish was okay. The oysters were okay the flower needs to be sifted when y'all do the oysters. The baked fish was okay too. We were there for about 45 minutes to an hour and noticed they didn't have any crabs there until we got up to leave so service seen the buffet was timely. The only thing I really mostly enjoyed was the dessert the dessert was good great I guess. I say it like that about the dessert because I like the flavor and the taste of the dessert but the bread pudding was really good until I figured out it wasn't custard the lady said it was bread pudding so then I was like okay that makes sense cuz it was probably one step from being flan. So that was my concluded opinion I hope it helps people make decisions on driving 45 minutes to experience a seafood buffet that may or may not disappoint someone. And that's what just changing eats page is about the opinion of each person's taste at the restaurants around this area I do apologize up front but I had to I was disappointed it was $62.54 with a $10 tip should have left her more tip cuz she kept them drinks coming and a quarter tank of gas which come out to be about $10 in my little commuter car. So dinner was $82 tonight and that's what made me so disappointed. I could have spent half the money and went to China Palace and enjoyed my shrimp. Just wanted to try a new restaurant and put money in small businesses locally.

So I welcome you all the new page. This page is merely to give people a review from someone other than a Google search. I'm not paying to go into any restaurants. I go there to experience what they have to offer. And I'm going to give a review on my opinion and taste of my palate. I love food I know how to cook I give a honest opinion I'm not here to make money nor make anybody look bad just to warn people on the status of visiting a restaurant.
