Abbey Ridge Brewery & Tap Room **COMING SOON** REBUILDING! Welcome to Abbey Ridge Brewery & Tap Room! We are located on the Shawnee Ale is one of the oldest beverages humans have produced.

With the spread of Christendom in Europe, came the men and women devoted enough to give up their previous life and take up the monastic lifestyle. During the first half of the Middle-Ages, this influenced brewing practices. Family traditional brewing was shifted to centralized production in monasteries and abbeys. Beer was one of the most common drinks and was consumed daily by all social classes.

Out of necessity, new techniques were discovered and developed to enable the wide range of beer styles we see today. At Abbey Ridge Brewery, we embrace and celebrate the long standing traditions of these brew masters and the times and people of the middle ages. Their widespread consumption and enjoyment of these monastic beers sustained a way of life… and we continue that tradition.
