What a wonderful Sweet Corn Daze weekend!

A huge thank you to the Rockwell City Chamber & Development for all of the hard work that goes into making this event such a special tradition. Weekends like this are about so much more than activities—they’re about neighbors catching up, families making memories, and our community coming together.

We were so grateful that Pom Pop had the opportunity to serve during the Fire Department Water Fights on Sunday. It was a blast watching the friendly competition and seeing people of all ages cheering each other on. Events like these remind us what makes small-town communities so special.

One of my favorite moments was hearing my own teenagers reminisce about participating in the water fights years ago. It was a sweet reminder that these traditions create memories that last far beyond a single weekend.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by for a drink, said hello, or supported us. We appreciate you more than you know, and we’re already looking forward to next year!

We’ve loved seeing everyone create their own custom drinks at Sweet Corn Daze, but one drink has definitely pulled ahead…

⭐️Starburst!

This one is made with Pink Lotus, strawberry, and vanilla for a fruity, refreshing energy drink that tastes just like its candy namesake.

What’s Lotus? It’s a plant-based energy concentrate that gives you a smooth boost of energy without the taste of traditional energy drinks. Any of our Lotus drinks can be made with Pink or White Lotus for just $1 more.

I almost wish I had taken a picture.

Not because it would have made a good Facebook post, but because I never want to forget the moment.

I stepped back for just a second while we were getting everything ready on at Homecoming in Pomeroy, took a deep breath, and looked around.

The trailer was full.

My mom, my husband, my brother and sister-in-law, our kids… everyone was busy doing something. Someone was working on the generator. Someone was carrying supplies. Someone was organizing. Every few minutes I’d hear, “What do we do next?”

The best part?

I didn’t have to ask.

They were simply there because they wanted to help.

Starting a business is exciting, but it’s also a lot of work. There are days when the list feels impossibly long. In that one quiet moment, though, I realized I wasn’t carrying it by myself.

Our community has been incredibly supportive, and I’m thankful for every person who stops by Pom Pop. But before we ever serve a single drink, I’m surrounded by a family that believes in this dream enough to give their time, their energy, and their Saturday to help make it happen.

I don’t ever want to take that for granted.

To my family: thank you. I hope you know how much that moment meant to me. 💙🩷

🥤 Tuesday Drink Spotlight: Classic Float

One thing surprised us at Pomeroy Homecoming...

While Dr. Pepper was our most popular soda base (no surprise there 😉), the drink everyone kept coming back to and talking about was our Classic Float!

If you've ever waited just long enough for the vanilla ice cream to melt into an A&W Root Beer, you already know the flavor we're talking about. It's sweet, creamy, smooth, and tastes just like a classic root beer float—without the ice cream.

It quickly became one of the most talked-about drinks of the weekend, especially for first-time Pom Pop customers.

There really is no place like home.

This weekend reminded us why we’re so proud to call Pomeroy home. Every year, Homecoming seems to get a little bigger, a little better, and a little more special. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard behind the scenes to make it such a great weekend for our community.

For those who may not know, the “Pom” in Pom Pop is short for Pomeroy. Our hometown is where this little dream began, and it means a lot to be able to serve friends, neighbors, classmates, and visitors right here at home.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the trailer, tried a drink, shared a smile, or simply came over to say hello. Your support means more to us than you know.

We’re also happy to share that the pop cans from this weekend are being donated to Pomeroy Men's Club. We love all they do to give back to our community.

We’re grateful to be part of a town that shows up for one another. Thank you, Pomeroy. We can’t wait to see you again soon! ❤️🥤
