Are birthday hats like super special, tiny and colorful witches hats but without the brim? Let’s pretend. Yes, it’s Libra season and my birthday day today/week 🎂😅😱 but I don’t feel any older than yesterday so that’s good.

To CELEBRATE we have a fun gift with purchase that is a present for YOU! All week long, $60 purchases or more will have a locally printed Village Farmacy tote bag ($20 value) as my thank you. [One offer per person] I also made a vanilla birthday cake flavored whip this week with lemon cookies, raspberry jam and sprinkles. Have some, be festive and make a wish!

I finally made time to put together the fall dried flower bundles so those are back in stock. Many of the flowers were locally grown, some in my garden. Others were carefully selected to make these super cool color combos. You won’t find anything else like them around and the make the perfect gift or treat.

Looook at that drip. That smooth (vegan) cheesy cheese puddle.

'So, let’s talk about the pineapple jalapeño popper grilled cheese. I regularly get asked… “how did you come up with that?” My answer is as simple as “use what you have and how can we create something new and exciting?!” We made a special mocktail for our Practical Magic month that involves a pineapple, ginger and jalapeño shrub. During the process of making the shrub, the fruit pulp was separated and I made a sort of jam with it and incorporated that into the jalapeño dip. It pairs perfectly on the multigrain bread with more cheese (vegan of course) and a raspberry glaze. ((This photo is not the exact sandwich as far as components but bone structure is there. Same fam if you will.))

In another installment of our specialty mental health and affirmation card decks, the cafe received a new shipment of Planet Grief. I love sourcing unique, niche and genuinely well meaning gifts like our Little Book Of Light, the communication deck for kids and even the positive affirmation decks. (We also have tarot cards too if you like to self reflect with beautify imagery and colorful prompts.

We still have great coffee and tea drinks and a seat open for you. Find us in the lower level of the Poland Library.

You know what gets billed as basic but is anything but? Our house made vanilla bean syrup little vanilla freckles on the glass! It’s a favorite and I hope you try it and it’s yours too.

For this cold weather we have the cutest curated provisions for you to peruse. Need a bandana to pair with everything this fall? On a bag, around your neck or as a head scarf? We have so many colors to choose from. I’ve been collecting various patterns for years and happy to have them at the cafe.

Hey Cleveland!!! We are coming to Cleveland Vegan Society Saturday and will be at their market in Lincoln park from 10am to 5pm. (The cafe will still be open for brunch in Poland, Ohio.)

Our featured cookies are ALL 1/4 pounders like the Blueberry Muffin sugar cookie, Chai Chocolate Chip, Sea Salt Chocolate Chip and the Coconut Ube Matcha.

Next on the menu are our stellar bars like the hefty Orange Blossom Shortbread Brownies, Pumpkin Nutty Pie bars, Chocolate Peanut Butter Potato Chip Fudge along with our Smokey Pumpkin Rosemary Biscuit, Almond Apricot granola and RONI ROLLS with our house made pepperoni.
