I get so many questions about the Poland Library and the current status of it.

Unfortunately, the Library Board of Mahoning Valley voted in April to close it, but there’s still a group of us that are trying to raise awareness and get this decision revisited. Our efforts include more yard signs, a presence at Celebrate Poland, reaching out to legislators and Governor DeWine, and organizing a Reading Rally for Literacy. If you’ve been following, local, township, county, and even state lawmakers are in favor of keeping the library EXACTLY where it is.

There is a core group who are still passionate about this cause and many, MANY people in the community who are going to feel the negative impact if the library goes away . All that to say, I’m reaching out to ask for support for this GoFundMe to Save Our Library. This cause is important to so many and whether you can donate or simply share the fundraiser, every little bit helps and is greatly appreciated.
