Keoki’s Paradise is honored to present the 2026 Hoʻoulu Award to Kumu Sean Puahi Chun, a respected traditional Hawaiian healer, cultural practitioner, and dedicated community leader whose lifelong work embodies the spirit of hoʻoulu: to foster, maintain, perpetuate, and inspire tradition.

The Hoʻoulu Award recognizes individuals who dedicate themselves to preserving and uplifting Hawaiian culture. Through his commitment to traditional Hawaiian healing, cultural education, mentorship, and community service, Kumu Sean continues to share ʻike with future generations and make a lasting impact throughout our community.

Through his leadership of Pihana Ka ʻIkena, he helps perpetuate traditional Hawaiian healing practices and cultural arts, creating opportunities for education, mentorship, and cultural engagement.

We are honored to recognize Kumu Sean with the 2026 Hoʻoulu Award and celebrate the knowledge, service, and dedication he continues to share with our lāhui.
