We are thrilled to announce that The Gnarly Marlin, a casual waterfront eatery and bar in Rockport, Texas will be open soon!

Our move from lake to coast is proving to be an awesome transition as the Central Texas ties to Rockport continue to amaze us - it seems everyone has a connection to this special town. We are very excited to meet new friends and welcome them along with our long-time friends to our new gorgeous facility that boasts a spacious open-dining area, a large welcoming bar and lounge, and three outdoor patios - all with a spectacular view of the Bay!

In addition to serving our tried-and-true favorites including Fish ‘n’ Chips, Cubano Sandwich, Ahi-Tuna, Burgers, Lobster Roll, Cheesesteak, and more, The Marlin will have new, delicious items like Crab Fingers, Baked Oysters, a NY Strip, Clam Chowder, and fresh seafood caught by local fishermen - we’ll even cook your catch! Our full bar will feature unique and fun shareables, margaritas, draft beer, The Gnarly Gar’s famous Rumrunner, Pain Killer, Cross-Eyed Mary, and more!

An angler and birder’s paradise, Rockport is home to fantastic restaurants, countless festivals, amazing sunrises and sunsets, Goose Island State Park, and Texas’ only Blue Wave Beach!

The Marlin is located between Cove Harbor Marina & Drystack and Cove Harbor Waterfront RV Resort, at 2796 Texas Highway 35 South and only 17 miles from Port A! Plan a day-trip or take a few days off, head to the coast, and come see us!

Only 2 more days of Gar fun left!

Open today 4-11:30p with The Hitz taking the state at 8p! Come dance the night away with us!

Saturday is our final day! We will be open 11:30a-11:30p. At 8p, our friend and Point Venture's own, Chad Alan, will round out our 14 and a half years on Lake Travis!

We hope you can swing by this weekend - we'd love to see you one last time!

Floating on Lake Travis, we have plenty of car and boat parking available! This weekend, our menu will be limited to Burgers w/ Chips and Grilled Chicken Sandwich for $7, and Hot Dogs w/ Chips for $6. We will have a full bar, and our Fuel Dock will be open for ethanol-free fuel sales both Friday and Saturday!

Silent Auction Update!
The Johnny Fin's catfish food dispenser winning bid was $700! A donation of $700 will be made to Make a Wish Foundation in the winning bidder's name! A huge thank you to everyone who participated in our auction!

Floating on the water since 2007, The Gnarly Gar's final weekend on Lake Travis is here!

Parting ways without live music is simply not an option, so we're excited to welcome back The Hitz on Friday at 8p - come dance the night away with us! There is no better Gar send off than with our friend, and Point Venture's own, Chad Alan who will take the stage Saturday night at 8p!

Our Fuel Dock, Restaurant, and Bar will be open Friday, 4-11p and Saturday, 11:30a-11:30p! Our Menu will be limited to Burgers w/ Chips for $7.

Hope you can make some time to swing by - we'd love to see you one last time!
