The Smokin Sandy Pineapple

We have some very exciting events coming up this week at The Smokin’ Sandy Pineapple, and we are so grateful for these opportunities to get ourselves out there to show you what we can do!

Very often people ask us what we do, or more likely, “What’s The Smokin’ Sandy Pineapple?” and “Who’s Sandy?” (That one makes us laugh because there is no “Sandy,” just a short story of how the name came to be.)

Most people see us as BBQ centered comfort food, and we are. But we are also SO much more!

This week we have a chance to feature another side of us that we are equally passionate about...

Most of our menu will be vegan, or more specifically, plant based and minimally processed. Our produce will be local and organic, featuring the beautiful bounty grown at Crossroads Farm in Malverne.
(Thank you to all of our friends at Crossroads Farm for putting the same passion that we have for cooking, into growing our beautiful food.)

Some may call this “health food,” but often we call it
soul food. Yep, you guessed it, it feeds the soul! It feels good in our bodies, and because it’s made with so much love, joy and passion, it tastes amazing, and puts a smile on your face. And it makes your belly happy!

Our plant based food is nutritionally dense (don’t let that scare you), delicious (lots of customers can’t even believe it’s not meat or dairy!!) and it also provides the same comfort, and is made with the same love that we bring to everything we do, so you know it’s goooood.

Our food feeds your soul, just like spending time with the people you love; people with positive energy; people who make you laugh; getting outside into nature; listening to good music, and doing the things that set your freaking soul on fire.

So come out and see what we are passionate about, what we love to do, and feel how happy you will be when you eat with us and share in the blissful energy with the incredible people who host us, and surround us:
