We really haven’t been MIA…just busy!!

In the last couple of weeks, we’ve been to 12 locations.

We were back at the farmers market, we’ve sponsored 2 rodeos (fed VIP’s at one), hit up our favorite ropin’s (3 times), watched some beautiful sunsets, participated in two employee lunches and one employee breakfast, we even catered a wedding. Saturday we were at 4️⃣ different locations.

Oh let’s not forget, we’ve spent some time with the grandbabies (not pictured) and had one HOCO proposal.

Tomorrow we head 3 hours away to cater a retreat for 3 days in a semi-remote location.

The food truck (not Dave & I, but our wonderful staff) will be at the indoor arena Wednesday night for a ropin’ from 5pm-9pm. We (Dave & I) will be back up at the indoor arena on September 26th for another ropin’ & barrel race and possibly out south 5th on October 1st…we’ll keep you posted.

All right, I finally took the time to sort through all of the charities that were “nominated” &…

WE HAVE A WINNER 🥳

There were over 50 charities/nonprofits nominated. I took that list and numbered them and then put them in a randomizer on Google to choose the top 10.  I then added in my pick and I added in the one that received the most votes from everyone, to make the list 12. I then put that list into a spinning wheel and I have posted that video below. 

I will tell you, that the one that the spinning wheel chose, was also the one that received the most nominations on my post, so that was pretty cool.

They will be receiving $3,272.64

(7792 customers served in the month of April multiplied by $.42)

SO SORRY….

Jumbos phones are not working today. They are internet phones & we are having internet issues. Actually, everything in this building runs on the Internet. We have got temporary Internet in place, but I am limited on what I can connect to it. Our receipt printers are also not working, because of this. If you’d like to place a takeout order, you will need to come in and do that in person and if you are dining with us today and need a receipt, you will need to email or text it to yourself from the checkout screen.

My friends!

Back in April, we talked about donating to a charity that you all choose. Time and life has gotten away and things are insane for us right now, but we need to make this happen!!

In that post we had I think like 400 comments, it was insane and all of the charities that you nominated got lost in the comments.

I am asking all of you right now in the comments to tell me a charity that is near and dear to you that we can add to our list and choose from.

We will number these and place them into a randomizer to be picked.

I had said that the total amount being donated would be the amount of customers we see in the month of April multiplied by $.42.

The total amount to be donated is $3,273

I would like to get this done in the next week or two, so let’s put a timeframe of Friday, 6/19 to comment on this post with your nominations. Please try to limit all other comments and only comment your nomination for a charity 🥳🥳

You all are seriously the best! We wouldn’t be here without any of you!

Come spend your Mother’s Day with us, we would love it!

This is one of our busiest days of the year, so feel free to call before you leave the house and get on our waitlist. You can also go to Google and join our waitlist from there. 

Just a reminder, we do not take reservations, just the waitlist. Your entire party does have to be present, to be sat. We also ask that when you arrive to just send one person from your party in to check in or get on the waitlist. Remember, we do not have any indoor waiting area, so please, don’t unload Grandma, until you know that your table is ready 💜

Tuesday is the only day we don’t ever make the same soup, it is our day to be creative and try something new, today is that day.

We attempted some seafood bisque today & I have to say, it’s not too bad. I will say, it does have more of a tomato base, than others I’ve had. I would say it tastes like tomato 🍅 bisque and lobster 🦞 bisque had a baby 😜….
