It's Sunday, and we're all about fall at the mercantile both inside and outside. 🍁🍂🍁

There's more of everything in the cases and cabinet today and as we like to say "pick up something to share with family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers"......everyone enjoys a sweet surprise. 🥰

On the mercantile side you'll definitely want to admire Kaylene's wool pumpkins, crocheted cats & primitive crows by Sue, fall flags made in USA, and there's even a fun goose by Sue.....you never know what she's working on. 😁

And for this week's forecast you'll need tshirts & sweatshirts and we have you covered with a variety of both. 😉

It's Saturday, the most delicious day of the weekend. 😁

Fresh baked pies today are cherry, peach, and apple, and there's angel food cakes both plain & iced available, too.
Croughnuts, croissants (the almond croissant is my favorite), danish, and donuts are piled high today and Saturday also means blueberry cake donuts......something for everyone. 😊

There's fall car coasters, another assortment of loomed towels by Randy, and Karen's adorable ghosts & pumpkins to start your autumn decorating. 🍂🍁🍂

Outside there's locally grown straw bales, corn stalks, and pumpkins. We're out of mums for the season, but we have beautiful celosia & purple fountain grass available and they're both on sale for just $5 each.

It's Sunday, and hopefully the last hot day of September. 😉

The cases are full and there's plenty of gooey butters, peanut coffee cakes, stollens, and pies for after dinner treats or sharing with family and neighbors.

New Direction Goat Soaps are in and not only are they adorable shaped pumpkins, they also have a delightful fall scents. Speaking of fall scents, Jan's candles are stocked with all of the favorites including Don's pick Bourbon Butterscotch and my pick Pumpkin Caramel Crunch. 🥰

And the 48th Radius Rods Annual Car Show is today at the American Legion Park and there's always a great turnout of classics. Henry has to work today and can't make it to the park but he's there in spirit and sitting in front of the mercantile watching all of the cars arrive in town. 😁

It's Saturday, the most delicious day of the weekend. 😉

In the sweet side, macarons, mousse, pineapple upsidedown cakes, and cookies are just a few of the selections available today. Donuts, danish, gooey butters, angel foods and breads are ready and waiting.....there's so many choices. 🙃

On the mercantile side, Robyn added an assortment of witches brooms in all sizes, from small to tall there's one for every witch.
Sue's primitive inspired pieces have been restocked and there's new styles of fall & Halloween sweat shirts in stock too......they'll be perfect for the weather forecasted for the coming week. 🧙‍♀️🎃

And outside, all of the mums, grasses, cockscomb, and pink celosia are 3/$20. Get your porch ready for fall today so you can enjoy the beauty of the cooler season coming soon. 🍁🍂🍁

The Cars Movie is tonight in the park with free hotdogs & popcorn compliments of the village & Globe Theater, and Double J Doggie Play N Stay has graciously provided the screen & projector for the movie. Huge thanks to all of them for helping put the event together. 🥰

#3 Mums, grasses, and celosia all 3 for $20. The mums are full of buds and you need them before they peak.....plus next week's weather is going to definitely be fall and they'll last longer, too. 🍂

It's a beautiful September Sunday morning out there and the forecast for the day is delightful. 🍂🍁🍂

Cases are full, chocolate cream horns piled high, and there's a third round of gooey butter cakes, too.

Sue has a wonderful assortment of primitive inspired handmade Halloween pieces and of course the black cats are the most popular at the moment. 🐈‍⬛️

If you're wanting to learn to crochet, felt, or embroider, we have easy kits with everything needed to create your own masterpieces......you just have to follow the instructions. There's a nice felted Halloween ornament kit that you can do with family and friends......unless you'd rather work solo. 🙃

And it's so nice to see the Pocahontas shirts flying out of here. Don will have to help me make more soon, which of course he participates in but he's not as enthusiastic and I am during the process. 😁

And lastly, the air conditioner here isn't working properly again so thankfully it's supposed to stay in the low 80s today. Stay tuned because if it gets above 88°inside we'll have to close because it's pretty miserable for everyone then. 😬
