Today's crawfish boil is sold out. So, we will not be able to serve anyone who has not reserved their space already. For those that have, we plan to serve at 3pm.

Then, at 4pm, the first of two bands, Sinister Plot, starts playing. Thee Associates start at about 5pm. It's gonna get loud!! (I hope).

You do not need crawfish reservations to enjoy the music.

Tomorrow we will be at the Kingston Farmers Market at Gray's Beach with kombucha, beer, wine, and mead. Also hot sauces and more.

On Monday, we rest.

We are also excited to have Wilde Flour local bakery coming to round out the dinner. Creative, delicious, amazing food and great people! Wish I didn't just look at their page though 'cause now I'm starving!

It's a Cajun-style crawfish boil in the beer garden with all the fixins.

Assuming I make it through the big show on Saturday (see previous post) - this Sunday, Aug 30, will be our first hop picking party of the year. We will pick all the centennial, cascade, and teamaker hops starting at 10:00 am. This year's harvest is not going to be a great one, but there are plenty of hops to be picked and we will need some volunteer help, as always.

IndieFerm will supply the beverages and snacks, you guys supply the picking fingers. Many hands make for light work and it is actually kind of fun. Larger hop farms have machinery to pick hops but we are lucky to have so many friends of the brewery that help out.

So join us at the hop field on Clifford Rd near the intersection with Doten Road in Chiltonville. Look for the poles in the field and you will be heading the right way. You can ignore the "no motorized vehicles" sign at the beginning of the road and drive right up to the hops. It is a good idea to bring a chair but we will have tents and tables etc. And, hop vines can irritate sensitive skin so it is best to where long sleeves.

If you can't make it this time, we will be picking the nugget hops in a couple of weeks.

The show will go on today. Johnny Spampinato and the Value Leaders are setting up right now.
5 to 8pm. Feel free to bring or doordash food. And we have pizzas and pretzels.

This was last year when Johnny Spampinato and the Value Leaders played the beer garden. We will be doing it again tomorrow from 5 to 8pm. Maybe indoors if the rain doesn't clear out in time.

We have postponed the crawfish boil until September 5 due to the predicted rain this Saturday.

We are still going ahead with live music but we might move it indoors.

We are at the Somerville Fermentation Festival today until 5pm with kombucha, beer, wine, hot sauces, vinegar, fire booch and more. At Arts at the Armory.

Saturday's at IndieFerm are for music. We have a great line up of bands coming for the rest of the summer and into the fall. Shows are 5 to 8 pm unless it says otherwise.

This week, it's the Shady Roosters (rockabilly, roots, blues, and more) in the beer garden. The Shady Roosters are like seeing 4 bands in one with several singers and a horn section.

Next week (aug 22) Johnny Spampinato and the Value Leaders are coming back. That is also the day of our crawfish boil from 3 to 5. Johnny was guitarist in NRBQ for many years as well as the Incredible Casuals. Haven't heard of either one? Well, next Saturday is your chance to find out what you have been missing all these years.

On August 29 we have a really big show for you with Last Stand (3:30 pm), The Shady Roosters (4:30 pm) and The Dogmatics (6:30 pm). It's a rock and roll extravaganza.

On September 5 it's Thee Associates with covers of classic punk rock tunes.

On September 12, it's the rescheduled show with Taylor Avenue. It rained the first time they were scheduled to play this summer so we are hoping for better weather this time. Taylor Avenue is a group of young guys from Plymouth playing grunge-influenced rock and roll.
