Goat cheese, also known as chèvre, is a versatile and tangy cheese. It has a creamy texture and can range from soft and spreadable to firm and crumbly depending on its age and processing. Here are some ways to enjoy goat cheese:

Salads: Crumble goat cheese over salads for a creamy, tangy addition. It pairs particularly well with mixed greens, nuts, and fruits like figs or pears.

Appetizers: Serve goat cheese as part of a cheese board or spread it on crostini with a drizzle of honey for a delightful appetizer.

Pizza: Use goat cheese as a pizza topping along with caramelized onions, spinach, and roasted red peppers for a gourmet twist.

Sandwiches: Spread goat cheese on sandwiches or wraps for a creamy and tangy alternative to mayonnaise or other spreads.

Did you know sea salt and table salt have the same sodium content at 40%? So, what is the difference between the two and why do people say sea salt is better? Sea salt is less processed and retains trace amounts of minerals, whereas table salt is mined underground and processed to remove other minerals. It is then fortified with iodine, which is essential for thyroid health. Don't forget sodium is needed, but in moderation of 2,300 mg daily, which equals about one teaspoon.

Brussels Sprouts vs. Cabbage

They may share that strong sulfur smell when overcooked, but both are nutrient powerhouses worth adding to your plate!
- Brussels Sprouts are a bit bitter raw, but don’t let that fool you — they’re loaded with fiber, protein, potassium, and vitamins A, C, and K. Roasted or sautéed, they’re a total game-changer!
- Cabbage comes in over 100 varieties, with green, red, and crinkly-leaved Savoy being the most popular. It’s rich in fiber, folate, potassium, magnesium, and vitamins A and K — all while being super low in calories.
